Reigned: June 1483 – August 1485

King Richard from the House of York and last of the Plantagenet dynasty and was one of the most famed monarchs of medieval times. He was made infamous by playwright William Shakespeare as the disfigured, evil and conniving royal uncle stealing the throne from his younger nephews. Eventually he would fall at the battle of Bosworth Field.

Richard's military skills have helped to put his older brother Edward on the throne of England. But jealousy and resentment cause Richard to seek the crown for himself, and he conceives a lengthy and carefully calculated plan using deception, manipulation, and outright murder to achieve his goal.
